Sludgehammer is a giant frog who lives on frozen lakes. His webbed toes spread his weight on the ice, and his forelimbs smash holes, then he sticks his head in the water and catches fish with his sticky tongue.
This is a very cool frog with very special skill!

Draft and design,
Finding reference of frogs that suits the image of a giant frog and trying to design how the frog will gonna look like. This 1st draft of the frog is looking a little too cute for a giant frog hahaha.

After finding alot of reference online, I combine some of the frog feature that looks suitable to a image of a giant frog. In order to made the main feature more obvious, I made the forearm larger. So it will look cooler and look different from the other frog.

Some other animal reference. Animals that living in the north or south pole usually look chunky and round, big stomach like penguin and seal makes them slide on the ice, so I in-cooperate it into the frog. As well can support the weight of the hammer arms. The forearms also reminded me of elephant legs.
