Now, the hot sun is something to be avoided
Heat stroke strikes people
Wildfires ravage the trees
We stand for a while in the blazing sun
And see the shimmer in the city
Fewer and fewer
And yet sometimes I stop
and feel the midsummer

熱中症が人間を襲い
山火事が木々を襲う
炎天下にしばしの間立ち尽くし
街なかに陽炎を見ることも
少なくなった
それでも時に立ち止まって
真夏を感じる
