Happy Birthday, LiSA! (My Fan Art was Noticed!)

Good morning! Birthday fan arts aren't over for me because I still have two left, and one of them is a birthday fan art for my favorite Japanese female singer, LiSA!

(Please do not confuse the name with Lisa of Black Pink. LiSA's name is all in capital letters except for the letter "i".)

LiSA (Live is Smile Always) or Oribe Risa (real name) is a Japanese pop/rock/anime song singer and is well-known especially in the anime community. She was born on June 24, 1987 at Gifu Prefecture, Japan. During high school, she had a band named "Chucky" and after they disbanded after graduating high school, she pursued her singing career in Tokyo where she got the role as the singing voice of Yui in the anime "Angel Beats!" in 2010. In 2011, LiSA released her debut album "Letters To U".

LiSA rose to fame after singing songs for anime like Angel Beats!, Sword Art Online, Fate Zero, Fate Stay Night, My Hero Academy, Demon Slayer, etc. Since last year, her song "Gurenge" have been making waves in the anime community and due to the undeniable popularity of the song, it became certified triple platinum and 4th at Billboard Japan Hot 100 Mid-Year Chart 2020.

The anime song singer is also known for her pink hair and unique but cool and cute fashion..and obsession for minions. Before this post becomes a biography, let me proceed to my drawing now.

I am still not done with the commission (Ugh. Endless revisions!!Wait for another rant. Lol.) and so I have to settle with a much simple artwork for the birthday fan arts.

This is the reference photo, from LiSA's Instagram. @xlisa_olivex

So to make the fan art to be a birthday themed art, I made LiSA hold a balloon. I actually want a balloon and a cake on the drawing but I don't know where to place it. I don't want LiSA holding the cake because I already drew Yui holding one on her birthday fan art a few days ago, and so, I just added the cake inside the balloon. Well, it does look quite cute, right? Lol. I also wrote "Happy Birthday!!!" in Japanese characters. Hopefully, I wrote them correctly.

I posted the drawing on Instagram and Twitter and 30 minutes after, I received a like notification on Twitter:

LiSA saw my drawing and liked it!!!!!

Do you know how happy I am because finally, LiSA liked a fan art I did! After 5 years of making her fan arts, I finally got noticed! Well, she follows me on my private Twitter account and liked two of my Instagram posts where I tagged her before but getting a like from her on my fan art is a different feeling!

My drawing isn't as intricate as the other fan arts but at least she noticed and appreciated it!! Thank you, LiSA!

Here's the sketch of my drawing!
