Olathia

Hi there!

Three artworks I made for Ohio based heavy metal band Olathia back in 2019.
This was such a special project, not only because of the band's friendliness and involvement, but also because I got to work together with a graphic designer and teamwork is always fun and a good opportunity to learn.

This was also a very different format for music covers, so that's another interesting point of it. The image below was part of the inside illustrations, maybe my favorite.

The model for these pictures is the band's singer, Chris. Pretty cool to have the right poses and from a very nice photo shoot. Props to Matt Moser's photography and graphic design work. :)

Another job of his was adding the titles and all, so no band logo on the image below, which was the actual cover of the album. The album name (Snake Charmer) was finally displayed over the altar's 'cloth'.

The last artwork I created is a tad different than the others and was featured at the very back of the book.
The idea was to create a new Medusa off of some of Chris's photos, while still keeping the same atmosphere as in the other artworks.

Finally, the promotional material, again put together by Matt Moser. Here's both magazine and digipack formats, with proper formatting and all.
Gotta love the CD label, which I didn't do too.
