Hello everyone,
This was my watercolour and gouache painting that I finished on Sunday. A scene from an English forest with very vibrant autumn colours.
Above Image: The initial forest sketch on watercolour & gouache paper with a red coloured pencil, held down onto some large white card with artist's tape.
Above image: Painting in the first few strokes with diluted Ultramarine Blue and a little bit of Magenta for the background sky.
Above image: Laying down the first few dark strokes of paint for the forest tree trunks using Burnt Umber and Ultramarine blue.
Above image: the finished painting. I painted in various vibrant autumn colours, which stand out even more alongside the greens.
