I greet you again to share a new experience of hand in hand with creativity, this time corresponds to a distinctive illustration, which was born from the hand to a narrative already devised and developed by @ariapost, who has a very interesting literary current. In collaboration with her this image materialized as a complement to this one write.

Los saludo nuevamente para compartir una nueva experiencia de la mano con la creatividad, esta vez corresponde a una ilustración distintiva, que nació de la mano a una narrativa ya ideada y desarrollada por @ariapost, quien dispone de una corriente literaria muy interesante, y que colaboración con ella se materializó esta imagen o como complemento de dicho escrito.
Definition of drawing base
As this was an assisted project, a basic outline was created at the outset, which was composed with a good variety of references, a vital process to capture the specific intent of the narrative and to reproduce the key emotions of the climax of the written discourse.
At first I proposed to work from a 3 point perspective within a bottom-up approach, but when we studied an area perspective with a radial framing, we both gave as winner this last option, because it prioritized the appreciation of a main figure that harmonized with its environment to communicate the right idea, "the idea of judgment and pleasure emitted by a crowd to see an innocent person suffer" as the writer put it.
Definición de la base de dibujo
Al tratarse de un proyecto asistido, se creó un boceto básico al principio, que se compuso con una buena variedad de referencias, un proceso vital para captar la intención concreta de la narración y reproducir las emociones clave del clímax del discurso escrito.
Al principio propuse trabajar desde una perspectiva de 3 puntos dentro de un enfoque ascendente, pero cuando estudiamos una perspectiva de área con un encuadre radial, ambos dimos como ganadora esta última opción, porque priorizaba la apreciación de una figura principal que armonizaba con su entorno para comunicar la idea correcta, "la idea de juicio y placer que emite una multitud al ver sufrir a un inocente", como dijo el escritor.
Development in the traditional style
This work kept an interesting construction, because at the level of programs I used the -Adobe Illustrator- only to sketch in a more measured and editable way, and the -PaintoolSAI- to give it body, finishes and details. This is for the simple reason of reducing the time of elaboration, because being a joint work, a time limit was stipulated for the delivery of the finished work.
Personally I came to the conclusion that it was essential to give the illustration a traditional essence in terms of pictorial details, so I worked with very few layers, and with brushes with high levels of dilution and then recompose with brushes more loaded in opacity, to give that effect of pastiness, and create an atmosphere that referred to the oils with a certain expressionist style.
Desarrollo al estilo tradicional
Esta obra mantuvo una construcción interesante, porque en cuanto a programas utilice el -Adobe Illustrator- únicamente para bocetear de una manera un poco más medida y editable, y el -PaintoolSAI- para darle cuerpo, acabados y destalles. Esto con la sencilla razón de rendir el tiempo de elaboración, porque al ser una obra conjunta, se estipuló un tiempo de entrega límite de la obra finalizada.
Personalmente llegué a la conclusión de que era imprescindible dotar a la ilustración de una esencia tradicional en cuanto a detalles pictóricos, por lo que trabajé con muy pocas capas, y con pinceles con altos niveles de dilución para luego recomponer con pinceles más cargados en opacidad, para dar ese efecto de pastosidad, y crear una atmósfera que remitiera a los óleos con cierto estilo expresionista.
Technical Aspects
The final composition seeks from the beginning to contrast clearly between a foreground (which places the Woman accompanied by the demonic figure), and a secondary plane (where the people in the crowd are located), this to propose from an almost aerial plane a desicive approach to the burning Woman, which within the perspective is placed very close to the vanishing point to achieve that effect.
As for the use of light sources, I only used those that the fire gives off to add elements of attention to the foreground, and the color palette only takes expressiveness in the values of the foreground and background in general, as dense gradients of green to highlight a not very strict petumbra and strong oranges to illuminate everything and delimit both planes in a single atmosphere.
Aspectos técnicos
La composición final busca desde un inicio contrastar de manera clara entre un primer plano (que sitúa a la Mujer acompañada de la figura demoniaca), y un plano secundario (done se sitúan las personas de la multitud), esto para proponer desde un plano casi aéreo un enfoque decisivo a la Mujer en llamas, que dentro de la perspectiva se sitúa muy cerca del punto de fuga para lograr ese efecto.
En cuanto al uso de las fuentes de luz, solo utilicé las que desprende el fuego para añadir elementos de atención al primer plano, y la paleta de colores solo toma expresividad en los valores del primer plano y del fondo en general, como degradados densos de verde para resaltar una penumbra no muy estricta y naranjas fuertes para iluminar todo y delimitar ambos planos en una sola atmósfera.

And so finally concludes the design of this illustration, much of the reward was in the pleasure and enjoyment that was generated by the writer, to confer that conveyed just what she wanted to reflect in her writing, so thanks to @ariapost for this collaboration and thanks to you for reading and viewing this post.

Y así finalmente concluye el diseño de esta ilustración, gran parte de la recompensa estuvo en el placer y el disfrute que generó la escritora, al conferir que transmitía justo lo que quería reflejar en su escrito, así que gracias a @ariapost por esta colaboración y gracias a ti por leer y ver este post.
