Painting Album Covers on Old CDs | Dua Lipa

I had this idea for a long time, but I don't know why I hadn't done it. I had thought of doing this idea, not on old CDs, but on some wall in my room. Since I had said that when I painted my room, which I did, I was going to paint all my favorite albums on some wall. But I had all these old CDs, that I didn't want to throw away and that's when it came to my mind to paint the album covers on these CDs.

Tenia esta idea desde hace muchísimo tiempo, pero no se por que no la había hecho. Había pensado hacer esta idea, no en CDs viejos, sino en alguna pared de mi cuarto. Ya que había dicho que cuando pintara mi cuarto, que lo hice, iba a pintar todos mis álbumes favoritos en alguna pared. Pero tenia todos estos CDs viejos, que no quería botar y fue cuando se me vino a la mente pintar las portadas de los álbumes en estos CDs.

I've been a super fan of Dua Lipa for a long time, I think since before she released her debut album, so I can say that I've been listening to her music since she started her career. And that's why I wanted to paint one of her albums.

Soy super fanático de Dua Lipa desde hace mucho, creo que desde antes que lanzara su álbum debut, así que puedo decir que he escuchado su música desde que comenzó su carrera. Y es por so que quise pintar uno de sus álbumes.

To be honest, his second album, which was the one that I played, I didn't really like the first time I listened to it, because I was so used to the rhythms and genres he worked on in his first album, that when he released Future Nostalgia with such different sounds, it didn't instantly connect with me.

Para ser sincero, su segundo álbum, el cual fue el que pinte, no me gusto mucho la primera vez que lo escuche, porque estaba tan acostumbrado a los ritmos y géneros en los que trabajo en su primer álbum, que cuando saco Future Nostalgia con sonidos tan diferentes, no conecto al instante conmigo.

As time went by and I was listening regularly to her second work, I gradually connected with that work, so much so that it is now my favorite Dua album and I honestly don't listen to her first work anymore, which was my obsession every day.

Al pasar el tiempo y al estar escuchando con regularidad su segundo trabajo, fui conectando poco a poco con ese trabajo, tanto así que ahora es mi álbum favorito de Dua y sinceramente ya no escucho su primer trabajo, el cual era mi obsesión cada día.
