Every water-breather in ΛZMΛRÉ knows that Gorgons live in their waters. A simple trip to the ocean floor reveals the statues of the unfortunate Merfolk who crossed the path of a Gorgon. Medusa is the only Gorgon to reveal herself to others without turning them to stone. At least they have a choice.
This time I wanted to make a fanart a little more different than what I had been doing for the contest. Take any letter and I converted it, or rather, I made it a bit in my drawing style. Those who have been following me for a long time know that my drawing style is somewhat dark and gloomy, so I wanted to make this version of Medusa a little different from the original.
I started by making the very simple sketch on the page where I was going to make the drawing, try not to take so long to make the idea and the sketch, so as not to waste time with all the remaining work.
I already had an idea of how I wanted to do it, so all I did was do it. After I had the sketch, I started doing the details throughout the drawing, all in graphite pencil and charcoal.
To finish, the only thing I had to do was some details with the eraser in the drawing, to give it some light in some parts of it.
