Hello again friends!!! I hope you are very well in the corner of the world where you are, I send you a hug and that you continue doing wonderful things.
From my corner of the planet, in Venezuela, on a small island to the north, called Margarita, I find myself always trying to generate good, positive, useful and beautiful things because there are already many ugly things in the world. I hope to be able to contribute my grain of sand from what I like and love to do... Art!!!! I continue betting on the artistic talent of my beautiful country and on the future that we deserve. Here we still find many young fighters, entrepreneurs and talents who love this land and firmly believe that it is possible to achieve changes from art and culture in the reality that we live day by day, that generate awareness and I am convinced that the good we are more.
A couple of months ago I have been working on a project that I have been devising for years, finally what I have achieved and I am happy to share with you that I have created, registered and published my own art company, I already have the papers and it is official!!!! The best thing is that the time has come to move to the place where my new art space is going to work and I am happy to show it here now. I am super excited.
In the post title I anticipated about a new space, well yes, that's right, I have a new space! which will serve to work on my projects, I will have my works and teach drawing and painting classes, that is to say, it will be my workshop - art studio and gallery. I had previously talked to them about "My space", I still live there but I cannot use it as long as I would like because my sisters and I have installed my mother in it, since it is very comfortable for her and it is ideal to keep it isolated by the issue of the pandemic (for those who have not read my previous publications, my mother has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment), so we decided that it was the best place to take care of her and I was happy to have her with me. For that reason, I was able to arrange to move my work area to the premises next store, which is also our property and now it is "My new art space".
I'll tell you a little about what's in "My new space". I organized 3 work areas: I placed several easels to paint vertically, I placed a large table to work with children, various painting and drawing materials, finally I placed my personal work area, where my drawing table and a small shelf with supplies art, at the back of the room there is a blue wall, that is the place where the work done is exhibited. On one of the walls we have examples of canons that are very useful for drawing the human body in proportion; as you can see in the photos there are several plants in the space, it is because I love how they set the scene and they also provide us with good subjects or drawing objects to practice observation. It is a large place, I plan to continue creating more space and have more areas to work, there is a lot to take advantage of here, you just have to make it functional.
I have many projects in mind and I am working on one of them, they are basic and experimental drawing and painting workshops for children and adolescents, I think they are the axis of the society we want to achieve and with them we have to build it; I propose in these classes to teach the students the knowledge that I have acquired in my years of study on the subject, imparting a theoretical-practical content. The workshops that I have devised are aimed at motivating and fostering interest in the creative process in children and young people, developing innate abilities and initiating the search for their own language of expression, in the same way the idea of generating awareness in children and young people about environmentally friendly practices through Eco-Art.
So I am pleased to tell you that... the doors of my new art space are now open and everyone is welcome!!!
Finally, I want to remind you that my sisters @marylucy, @belizanaterah, my father @wanderlinder and I found ourselves raising money for a CT scan that my mother needs, it costs $ 395; It is to determine the progress that has been made after completing chemotherapy and may she be temporarily discharged. There are many expenses that we have had to cover since my mother was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year ago, all the treatment and tests have led us to look for other ways to get money, like our posts on this platform. Hola de nuevo amigos!!! Espero que esten muy bien en el rincón del mundo donde se encuentren, les mando un abrazo y que sigan haciendo cosas maravillosas.
Desde mi rincón del planeta, en Venezuela, en una pequeña isla al norte, llamada Margarita, me encuentro tratando siempre de generar cosas buenas, positivas, útiles y que sean hermosas porque ya hay muchas cosas feas en el mundo. Espero poder aportar mi granito de arena desde lo que me gusta y amo hacer... Arte!!!! Sigo apostando por el talento artístico de mi bello país y por el futuro que nos merecemos. Aquí aún nos encontramos muchos jóvenes luchadores, emprendedores y talentos que amamos ésta tierra y creemos firmemente que es posible lograr cambios desde el arte y la cultura en la realidad que vivimos día a día, que generen consciencia y es que estoy convencida que los buenos somos mayoría.
Hace un par de meses he estado trabajando en un proyecto que tengo años ideando, por fin lo que logrado y me da gusto compartirles que he creado, registrado y publicado mi propia compañía de arte, ya tengo los papeles y es oficial!!!! Lo mejor es que ha llegado el momento de mudarme al lugar donde va a funcionar mi nuevo espacio de arte y estoy feliz de mostrarlo aquí ahora. Estoy súper emocionada.
En el título del post adelanté sobre un nuevo espacio, pues sí, así es, ¡tengo un nuevo espacio! el cual me servirá para trabajar en mis proyectos, tendré mis obras y también daré clases de dibujo y pintura, es decir, será mi taller-estudio de arte y gallería. Anteriormente les había hablado de "Mi espacio", yo sigo viviendo ahí solo que no puedo usarlo todo el tiempo que quisiera porque mis hermanas y yo hemos instalado a mi mamá en él, ya que es muy cómodo para ella y es ideal para mantenerla aislada por el tema de la pandemia (para los que no han leído mis publicaciones anteriores, mi mamá tiene cáncer y está en tratamiento de quimioterapia), así que decidimos que era el mejor lugar para cuidarla, yo estaba feliz de tenerla conmigo y atenderla. Por eso pude arreglar el traslado de mis materiales de trabajo y todas mis cosas de arte al local de al lado, que también es de nuestra propiedad y ahora es "Mi nuevo espacio de arte".
Les cuento un poco de lo que hay en "Mi nuevo espacio". Organicé 3 áreas de trabajo: coloqué varios caballetes para pintar verticalmente, coloqué una mesa grande para trabajar con niños, diversos materiales de pintura y dibujo, finalmente coloqué mi área de trabajo personal, donde están mi mesa de dibujo y una pequeña estantería con suministros de arte, al fondo de la sala hay una pared azul, ese es el lugar donde se exhibe el trabajo realizado. En una de las paredes tenemos ejemplos de cánones que son muy útiles para dibujar el cuerpo humano en proporción; como pueden ver en las fotos hay varias plantas en el espacio, es porque me encantan como ambientan y además nos brindan buenos sujetos u objetos de dibujo para practicar la observación. Es un lugar amplio, pienso continuar habilitando más espacio y que hayan más áreas para trabajar, hay mucho que aprovechar aquí, solo hay que hacerlo funcional.
Tengo muchos proyectos en mente y estoy trabajado en uno de ellos, se trata de talleres básicos y experimentales de dibujo y pintura para niños y adolescentes, creo que son el eje de la sociedad que queremos lograr y con ellos hay que construirla; me propongo en estas clases enseñarles a los alumnos los conocimientos que he adquirido en mis años de estudio sobre la materia, impartiendo un contenido teórico-práctico. Los talleres que he ideado están encaminados a motivar y fomentar el interés por el proceso creativo en los niños y jóvenes, desarrollando habilidades innatas e iniciando la búsqueda de un lenguaje propio de expresión, de igual manera la idea de generar conciencia en niños y jóvenes sobre prácticas amigables con el medio ambiente a través del Eco-Arte.
Así que me complace decirles que... ¡¡¡Ya están abiertas las puertas de mi nuevo espacio de arte al que todos son bienvenidos!!!
Para finalizar les quiero recordar que mis hermanas @marylucy , @belizanaterah , mi papá @wanderlinder y yo nos encontramos reuniendo dinero para una Tomografía Computarizada que mi mamá necesita, cuesta 395$; es para determinar el progreso que se ha logrado luego de finalizar la quimioterapia y pueda ser dada de alta temporal. Son muchos los gastos que hemos tenido que cubrir desde que mi mamá fue diagnosticada con cáncer hace poco más de un año, todo el tratamiento y los exámenes nos han llevado a buscar otras formas de conseguir dinero, como nuestras historias en esta plataforma, por esa razón les pedimos un aporte en la medida que puedan colaborar apoyándo nuestras publicaciones, se lo agradecemos infinitamente 🤗😊💓
