Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was the founder of Christianity. Christians consider him the son of God. He gave the message of humanity to man. The number of Christian followers founded by him is the largest in the world today. The main text of this religion is 'Bible'.
Birth story
Around 4 BC, there lived a young woman named 'Mariam' in the city of Nazareth, Israel. She was married to a carpenter named Yusuf. It is said that God sent the angel Gabriel to Mary. He went to Mary and said, "Peace to you! The Lord is with you."
When Mary saw the angel, she was frightened. Then the angel said to her, 'Don't be afraid Mary, you are blessed by God. You will give birth to a son. Name him 'Jesus'. He will be great and will be called the sons of God. He will be the king and his kingdom will never end.' Saying this the angels disappeared. After this, by the infinite grace of God, Mary became pregnant.
Yusuf had made up his mind to leave Maryam for fear of slander. But on Gabriel's explanation that Mary is pregnant from the Holy Spirit. Don't be afraid to take him with you. Following Gabriel's advice, Joseph married Mary and brought her to his house. Joseph and Mary lived in Nazareth. At that time Nazareth was in the Roman Empire.
