Arte Digital: Prop – Diario del Pirata (Español – Inglés)

Hola, queridos amigos Hivers.

I'm going to show you my new Conceptual Art assignment.

In this case, I painted a Diary for a Pirate in which he keeps his most precious activity routes and the places where he has hidden the treasures, the product of his robberies. It has an opening system that works by passing the palm of the hand of a single person over the stones that are located on the cover.

To do this work, I previously prepared the Perspective template, as I did in my previous drawings. Then I drew a variety of sketches, from which I chose the one that seemed most appropriate.

Below, I show you the Step by Step of the construction of a Pirate's Diary.

Step N° 1: I drew the outline of the Diary.

Step N° 2: I painted the Values, that is to say, the Grayscale that will allow me to understand the Composition and Contrast of the different elements of the Diary.

Step N° 3: I painted the Local Colors. Here I refer to the basic colors on which I will do the final Rendering. Rendering means applying layers of colors, gradients, textures, shadows, and lights, which will finally give the illusion of reality.

Step N° 4: I started to apply textures, and to paint and generate Gradients to simulate the different materials.

Step N° 5: Little by little, I applied Shadow and Illumination Points in the corresponding places, according to the direction from where the light comes from, as well as imperfections and textures in the different materials.

Final Presentation.

It took me two (2) days to do this work.

This work was done in Photoshop 2022 with my Star 03 V2 XP-PEN Graphic Tablet.

Voy a mostrarles mi nueva tarea de Arte Conceptual.

En este caso, pinté un Diario para un Pirata en el cual guarda sus más preciadas rutas de actividad y los lugares donde ha escondido los tesoros, producto de sus robos. Tiene un sistema de apertura que funciona al pasar la palma de la mano de una única persona sobre las piedras que se ubican en la portada.

Para hacer este trabajo, previamente preparé la plantilla de Perspectiva, tal como lo hice en mis dibujos anteriores. Luego dibujé una variedad de bocetos, entre los cuales escogí el que me pareció más adecuado.

A continuación, les muestro el Paso a Paso de la construcción de un Diario de Pirata.

Paso N° 1: Dibujé el trazo del Diario.

Paso N° 2: Pinté los Valores, o sea, la Escala de Grises que me permitirá entender la Composición y el Contraste de los diferentes elementos del Diario.

Paso N° 3: Pinté los Colores Locales. Aquí me refiero a los colores básicos sobre los cuales haré el Renderizado final. Renderizado significa aplicar capas de colores, degradados, texturas, sombras y luces, que finalmente darán la ilusión de realidad.

Paso N° 4: Comencé a aplicar texturas, y a pintar y generar Degradados para simular los diferentes materiales.

Paso N° 5: Poco a poco, fui aplicando Puntos de Sombras e Iluminación en los lugares donde corresponde, de acuerdo a la dirección desde donde proviene la luz, así como imperfecciones y texturas en los diferentes materiales.

Presentación Final.

Hacer este trabajo me tomó dos (2) días.

Esta obra fue realizada en Photoshop 2022 con mi Tableta Gráfica Star 03 V2 XP-PEN.
