Does the bad wolf really exist?

I painted a poor wolf who becomes the target of bombs and bazooka shots, a paradox that is more relevant than ever in this period.

But then we can ask ourselves who really is the bad being, the wild animal or the civilized man?

Little Red Riding Hood emerges victorious in the tale of the Brothers Grimm and the diabolical and cruel figure of the wolf that will be killed by the hunter emerges from the story.

Even in Perrault's version the fairy tale tells that the wolf eats a red cap and ends the story, without a happy ending.

What kind of happy ending would that be?

I find that this fairy tale is totally uneducational and that it should not be told to children, because you cannot transform a noble animal such as the wolf into a monstrous being probable eater of the child. We are the monsters who manage to kill animals and other human beings very easily.

We are witnessing a humanitarian catastrophe of enormous dimensions, equal to the first year of the Second World War.

And the worst is yet to come, in a few months many African countries will no longer have wheat, wheat and maize grown in the largest granary in the world, Ukraine, not to mention raw materials for Europe and energy sources such as gas. and oil.

Il lupo cattivo esiste veramente?

Ho dipinto un povero lupo che diventa oggetto di bersaglio, di bombe e colpi di bazooka, un paradosso che in questo periodo è più che mai attuale. Ma allora possiamo domandarci chi è realmente l'essere cattivo, l'animale selvatico o l'uomo civilizzato?

Cappuccetto Rosso esce vittoriosa nella fiaba dei fratelli Grimm e dalla storia emerge la figura diabolica e crudele del lupo che verrà ucciso dal cacciatore. Addirittura nella versione di Perrault la fiaba racconta che il lupo mangia cappuccatto rosso e finisce la storia, senza un lieto fine.

Ma che razza di lieto fine sarebbe?

Io trovo che questa fiaba sia totalmente diseducativa e che non vada raccontata a i bambini, perchè non si può trasformare un nobile animale qual'è il lupo in un essere mostruoso probabile mangiatore della bambina. I mostri siamo noi che riusciamo ad uccidere animali e altri esseri umani con molta facilità.

Siamo i testimoni di una catastrofe umanitaria di dimensioni enormi, pari al primo anno della seconda guerra mondiale. E il peggio deve ancora venire, tra qualche mese molti paesi africani non avranno più frumento, grano e mais, coltivati nel granaio più grande del mondo, l Ucraina, senza contare le materie prime per l'Europa e le fonti di energia quali il gas e il petrolio.

Sperando che le 50.000 testate nucleari rimangono al loro posto.

E intanto ce la prendiamo brutalemante anche con il lupo cattivo.
