Its been a while since my last post :) But i am here and i am happy to share with you my latest Feature film Project i worked on called JIANG ZIYA !, The was was finally released in Cinemas on Oct the 8.
I was part of the amazing team while i was working with ANIMAMUNDU STUDIO, We toke on this project early late Jun/Early July 2019 i toke over the look development process before my team can take over and start lighting/rendering the shots.
After few calls with the directors the company has decided to take over one of the movie sequences to do light, Render and Composite for the movie.
So As a look development supervisor i was the first stage or preparing the scenes to render and prepare a look and feel to each shot and create light rigs so i can pass them to my lighting team.
The fun part was working directly with the directors and get the quick feedbacks on how they want the shots to look like, In this movie you will notice how the visual's are rich with colors and details and they wanted the mood to look like a painted 2D, Which was a nice challenge to crate in 3D, Requirements of the project was to use ARNOLD render in MAYA which was strong render engine were i used many light's and light blockers to create a mix of Blue, Pink and Orange.
Below are some of my LookDev renders that got the directors approval :)
And this is the completed Seq i have worked on for the movie, Rendering all shots out and adding the V/O mix, a side note : this is not what the final movie look like, As this render was only for look development approval.
