Hello Beautiful Liketu People!
How's your day? Me, I am very much fine even if it is raining here in our place. Last Wednesday Walk, I shared the first part of our visit to Sampalok Lake. This is the second or last part of my blog on our trip to the park.
The lake is very calm and peaceful. It can be seen that many people are walking and relaxing here on the lake side. The round white ball like one lights up at night. That is why it's also nice to go for a walk at night because of the light ball that illuminates the surroundings.
There is a statue of a fish and a lion to add art to the lake. So there were fish in the lake and we saw someone fishing there. We also saw that there were many people who went biking there, good for exercise and they were resting.
And we walked to the kids playground because that's what my son wants. While we were walking I stopped of course to take pictures of the environment. There are a lot of trees and plants here so it is fresh air and cozy surroundings. There is a single pine tree on the side of the playground. There is actually a rubber tree. I thought it was just a plant but the leaves are green and I saw it there too. Burgundy color is what we have here at the farm.
We went to the playground. There are swings, slides and more. I let my son play until he got tired and sat on the ground. There were may kids playing that day. Others are still wearing masks because it's still in pandemic days.
We went home around 2 pm, it was not too hot so we had a good trip. We even passed by a a road where unhusked rice or paddy were laid out to dry in the sun. Pineapple is the main product of Calauan, Laguna. As we passed by on our way home I saw a giant pineapple in that place, it is the trademark or landmark of the town. So I took a picture of it, it is in the last photo. That is why there are so many pineapple stalls there. We bought two pineapples to taste ad eat at home. Some says it's extra ordinarily sweet because of the rich volcanic soil on where they're planted.
