Disfrutar de las recetas dulces y dejarlas en mi perfil siempre será motivo de alegría para mí. Después de una breve ausencia, hoy nuevamente les traigo una deliciosa y fácil receta que puedes disfrutar en familia. En nuestro país (Venezuela) conocemos este postre como “Ponquesitos”, mayormente con sabor a vainilla y se disfrutan en la merienda con una taza de café. Particularmente, me gusta hacerlos de sabor variado, ya sea a petición de mis hijos, familia o amigos. ¡Quedan muy deliciosos! En esta oportunidad los decoré con Merengue Suizo ya que, sería un obsequio para unos amigos. Los ingredientes utilizados son económicos y puedes adquirir en el supermercado con facilidad.

In our country (Venezuela) we know this dessert as "Ponquesitos", mostly vanilla flavored and enjoyed as a snack with a cup of coffee. I particularly like to make them in a variety of flavors, either at the request of my children, family or friends, they are very delicious! This time I decorated them with Swiss Meringue as it would be a gift for some friends. The ingredients used are inexpensive and can be easily purchased at the supermarket.

Ponquesitos: • 500 gr harina de Trigo • 100 gr margarina • 100 ml aceite vegetal • 6 huevos medianos • 450 gr azúcar • Vainilla al gusto • Pizca de sal • 250 ml jugo de naranja • Capacillos Nro 9 Merengue Suizo: • 100 gr Claras • 200 gr Azúcar • Esencia Natta • 2 cucharas azúcar pulverizada

Ponquesitos: - 500 gr wheat flour - 100 gr margarine - 100 ml vegetable oil - 6 medium eggs - 450 gr sugar - Vanilla to taste - Pinch of salt - 250 ml orange juice - No. 9 sugar cube trays Swiss Meringue: - 100 gr Whites - 200 gr Sugar - Natta essence - 2 spoons powdered sugar

La esponjosidad de los ponquesitos siempre será mi parte favorita, en algunos casos un mal procedimiento hace que tu mezcla no quede con esa particularidad, con gusto te muestro un paso a paso bastante sencillo, también te invito a que lo intentes y lo disfrutes tanto como nosotros lo hacemos en casa. La receta rinde para un aproximado de 60 ponquesitos, si deseas mayor cantidad solo ten presente la cantidad de ingredientes a utilizar. No olvides pesar los ingredientes. • Separar las claras y yemas con cuidado. Aunque se lee un poco fastidioso créeme que este será el punto de partida para un buen resultado. • Una vez listo, lleva a baño de maría las claras y reserva las yemas para después. En este punto haremos un merengue, aunque no está equilibrado en azúcar, ten en cuenta lo siguiente: La cantidad destinada de azúcar para la receta, usaremos 300gr para este paso, diluimos y llevamos a batir hasta que este bastante firme o haga picos firmes. • Seguramente, en otro recipiente coloca las yemas, el aceite, margarina, esencias, y azúcar restante, comienza integrando todo perfectamente. • Al tener una mezcla bastante homogénea agrega la harina previamente tamizada, este procedimiento puedes hacerlo en 3 partes que alternaras con el líquido de la receta (también puedes usar leche líquida). Sigue removiendo hasta que desaparezca, ten en cuenta que no es necesario batir bruscamente ni en mayor tiempo ya que, no deseamos activar el gluten. • Por último, agrega el merengue suizo por parte hasta finalizar. • Prepara un molde para este tipo de postre, usa capacillos adecuados y agrega pequeñas cantidades, no llenes hasta arriba. • El proceso de horneado es sencillo y rápido, duran aproximadamente 20 minutos, teniendo en cuenta la temperatura y tipo de horno disponible en casa. No exceder de 180 grados. • Retira y deja reposar para decorar.

Merengue Suizo:

Hacer merengue es un procedimiento sencillo, aunque no lo parezca, debemos cuidar ciertos detalles para obtener la firmeza deseada, consistencia incluso hasta el sabor. En mi perfil existen paso a paso dedicados exclusivamente a esta receta. • Separar las yemas y claras. Usaremos solamente las claras, puedes reservar las yemas para otra receta. • Previamente pesadas, agregamos el azúcar. Considera la formula para el merengue: La cantidad de claras debe duplicar la de azúcar. Por ejemplo: 100gr claras x 200gr azúcar. • Llevamos a baño de María hasta diluirse. • Comenzamos abatir de menor a mayor velocidad, al ver que comienza a tomar firmeza agregamos esencia y azúcar pulverizada. • El punto ideal son los picos firmes. • Utiliza una manga pastelera con colorante líquido y una boquilla de preferencia. • Comienza a decorar tal sea el motivo deseado. • Puedes estar expuestos a temperatura cálida sin ningún problema.

Do not exceed 180 degrees. - Remove and let stand to decorate.
