Here is a #wednesdaywalk I took to spot some critters with my zoom lens.
I typically do loop around the lake and always see a duck sitting on this rock. Their colors really come out in the sunlight in this spot.
All the trees are blooming right now and my allergies are going crazy lol. At least it brings a lot of color to my bloodshot eyes.
The Canadian goose is still sitting on her eggs on the floating island on the lake. Soon there will be baby geese hatching.
Plenty of adult geese were walking around eating grass. These guys are very tame and you can almost walk up to pet them (though they would probably bite pretty hard if you tried lol).
The water is nice and blue this early in spring. Once summer hits the lake turns very green with lots of algae in it.
Now for the squirrels... This is one scrappy little fella. Looks like he got into some kind of fight or might have been scarred by a hawk talon.
This squirrel let me get pretty close and acted like part of the branch.
This one ran up off a fence onto an evergreen tree.
It posed long enough for another close-up shot. Squirrels are always an easy and entertaining subject to snap photos of.
That's all for this #wednesdaywalk
