"I love walking because it clears your mind, enriches the soul, takes away stress, and opens up your eyes to a whole new world."- Claudette Dudley

The walk gives our body health benefits. It clears our minds, made our muscles exercise, and makes our blood move. In short, walking is also a form of exercise that contributes much to our physical and mental health. When we are physically fit, then we are mentally healthy.

Anyways, I would like to share with you our extraordinary walk with @missleray my beautiful buddy. It was a fun-filled day, indeed!

We were tasked to make a corsage, a bouquet for our guests, and souvenirs. We need to go to Bogo City (the northern part of Cebu) to buy those needed materials. When @missleray told me the scheduled day to go to Bogo City, I didn't hesitate and I immediately packed my things and go with @missleray.

It was a beautiful and sunny day when we arrived at Bogo City and we started to walk and buy those materials. Then we went to Gaisano Bogo to buy corsage materials and flowers for the bouquet.

We headed to the flower station and as we roomed around, at the corner we saw these attractive flowers. We were uncertain about what to choose because all were nice and beautiful in our eyes.

Until we unanimously choose this set of flowers. These were the outstanding flowers we've seen that day. After this, we bought ribbons and plastic wrappers for the bouquet.

We went to the Novo store for the souvenirs and these were the display. Very cutie souvenirs and we were uncertain again on what to choose but then we decided to look for another store to find more beautiful than this.

Merienda Time

The day will not be complete if we didn't have our merienda (snacks) to recharge the energy 😊.

We headed to " Ang Kwek Kwek ng Bayan" stall.

Kwek-Kwek or orange eggs are boiled quailed eggs or chicken eggs coated with an orange batter and this will be deep fried until it is crispy.

These were well-known street foods where it taste good and were affordable to our budget as well. This is more savory especially when it is still hot and newly cooked.

Their stall offers delicious snacks and you will surely get home full and satisfied. No wonder many customers fall in line for their turn to avail this yummy merienda.

There were also juices displayed. Mango juice, gulaman ( jelly), and lemon juice, all were at affordable prices. One small cup of this cost 10 pesos only. Tempura and salted peanuts were available as well.

This was my first time tasting the kwek-kwek as a snack paired with the cold yummy mango juice good for the hot weather.

Wow, their kwek-kwek was so yummy especially when it was newly cooked together with their spicy sauce.
