Wednesday Walk - Rimski most, Roman bridge - Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Hello everyone.
Another #WednesdayWalk challenge .
With friends we went for a walk and visited Rimski most or Roman bridge. This is bridge on river Bosna. It is close to Spring of river Bosna - around 2 kilometers.
Bridge is made in the beginning of 16 century. Somewhere between 1530 and 1550. It is built during Ottomans. Todays bridge is most probably built on the ruins of old Roman bridge so the name comes from there.
Bridge has 7 arches. Length is around 50 meters and it is 4.5 meters wide.
It is special place to visit. There was a bit more water than usual. Some parts around the bridge were flooded. Reflections of the bridge and surround in the water are beautiful.
We spent some time here and explored each bank of the river.
We had lovely time.

Reflections are beautiful. Sky, trees and bridge.

Wooden bank. Simple but enough.

It was cloudy but very beautiful weather.

Bridge is quite wide. Only pedestrians can access and cross the bridge ( I think bikes can access easily as well).

Mountain in the back is mountain Igman. It is place where Spring of river Bosna starts. It is around 2 kilometers from here.

Other river side. Arches and their reflections are such nice combination.

Bridge from the other side.

There is also swans that are here. This day they were not around. But couple days after our visit while passing near the bridge I saw swan swimming.
It is such beauty to see them swim around.
There are ducks that come here.

There are couple banks around and sitting hut. It is nice place for picnic.

This parts were flooded. Normally you can walk around the trees.

We had good time visiting Rimski most. Later when weather is warmer and swans are back we should visit again.
