### Un saludo a todos los Hive amigos que visitan mi blog. Tiempo sin estar por estos lares con ustedes, pero finalmente he vuelta con la mismas alegría y motivación que me ha caracterizado en esta blockchain. Mi regreso viene marcado con lo que para mi es la época más hermosa del año, la navidad, y la música que en mi país: Venezuela, es típica de estas alegres fiestas, las gaitas. A pesar de ser un ritmo iberoamericano, la "gaita zuliana" tiene un ritmo particular que la diferencia de su estilo original y con una gran identificación regionalista. De estas gaitas les quiero hablar el día de hoy, en ocasión de unirme a una excelente iniciativa creada por la amiga @yolimarag donde nos invita a compartir cuales son las tres gaitas favoritas, así que sin más preámbulos, entremos en materia.

In spite of being an Ibero-American rhythm, the "gaita zuliana" has a particular rhythm that differentiates it from its original style and with a great regionalist identification. I want to talk about these gaitas today, on the occasion of joining an excellent initiative created by the friend @yolimarag where she invites us to share which are the three favorite gaitas, so without further ado, let's get down to business.

Casi puedo decir que esta es mi gaita favorita del mundo mundial, ja ja ja. La escucho desde que tengo uso de razón y siempre en los actos culturales del colegio y en las reuniones familiares me inventaba una coreografía para bailarla y cantar con muchísima alegría. A penas la escucho me gusta corearla de principio a fin y disfruto mucho tanto su melodía como su letra.

I can almost say that this is my favorite bagpipe in the world, ha ha ha. I've been listening to it since I can remember and always at school cultural events and family gatherings I would make up a choreography to dance and sing it with great joy. As soon as I hear it I like to sing it from beginning to end and I enjoy both its melody and its lyrics.

Con esta canción me identifico mucho ya que mi familia materna vive en Maracaibo y yo me crie hasta las 5 años con mi abuela y todos mis tíos y primos, pero cuando me mamá me trajo de regreso a Caracas fue muy duro para mi esa separación y recuerdo con mucha nostalgia que siempre que pasaba por el puente de Maracaibo coreaba inconscientemente esta canción y me iba en llanto. Hoy en día no es tan dramático mi recorrido por ese hermoso paisaje pero sigo sintiendo la misma nostalgia cada vez que voy a la capital zuliana.

With this song I identify a lot since my maternal family lives in Maracaibo and I grew up until I was 5 years old with my grandmother and all my uncles and cousins, but when my mother brought me back to Caracas it was very hard for me that separation and I remember with great nostalgia that whenever I passed by the bridge of Maracaibo I would unconsciously chant this song and I would leave in tears. Today my trip through that beautiful landscape is not so dramatic but I still feel the same nostalgia every time I go to the capital of the state of Zulia.

Este tema me llena de mucha alegría y siempre he pensado que trasmite todos los sentimientos característicos de las fiestas decembrina. Creo que todos en esta época nos llenamos de mucha más emoción y bueno deseos para todos y para nosotros mismos, así que puedo decirles a todos que *un año feliz sin tristeza y con mucha emoción, son mis deseos, mis deseos son...*

Debo decir que esta selección fue muy difícil para mi ya que me encantan las gaitas, tanto que puedo pasar todo el año completo escuchando este genero musical. Quizás el hecho de tener familia en "la tierra del sol amado" influya en esta preferencia pero lo cierto es que me declaro una fie e incondicional gaitera con mucho orgullo y mucha emoción. Agradezco inmensamente a @yolimarag por crear esta iniciativa y a su vez invito a @daniel2001 @dianakyv @yulsy y @josesalazar200 para que participen y nos cuenten cuales son sus tres gaitas favoritas.

I must say that this selection was very difficult for me because I love the bagpipes, so much that I can spend the whole year listening to this musical genre. Perhaps the fact that I have family in "the land of the beloved sun" influences this preference but the truth is that I declare myself a fie and unconditional gaitera with much pride and much emotion. I am immensely grateful to @yolimarag for creating this initiative and in turn I invite @daniel2001 @dianakyv @yulsy and @josesalazar200 to participate and tell us which are their three favorite gaitas.
