Today I and my family went to a Pet Sanctuary Named - PRANI.
Prani is a pet sanctuary that is home to rescued animals like Horses, terappins, Emus, Iguana and more.
We live in the crowded busy life of the city so we don't get time or we can say busy city life doesn't afford us many opportunities to interact with animals and birds. But Prani is just the place where we can touch, feel and interact with the animals which are in this sanctuary.
It is located just outside the city on the Kanakpura Road. It is one of the must visiting place for animal lovers and kids. The guides of that sanctuary will tell about the animals, their nature, about their foods and so many things that we gonna learn there.
It is opened all seven days of the week. The ticket charges you 400 rs per person above 3 years old. The experts or guides will take you to the sanctuary and teach you how to interact with the pets.
At first they will take you to meet Gerbils, Guinea pig, Rodents, Hedgehogs and Iguana.
The guide will share you about the stories of origin of these animals.
They will give you these animals like Rodents, Guinea Pig, Hedgehogs, Iguana on your hand and on you lap to touch them gently.
Then we moved to Thrilling Aviary. This is Bangalore's only Aviary where you get to walk through and can touch and feed the birds.
We will see colorful Parakeets, love birds, other colorful creatures who will happily sit on you shoulders, hands, heads and nibble away at ears and heads.
Then there is a Horse named -MAYA who demands to be fed. It is very tall in height and brown in color with beautiful body. And two little foals.
There are Emus, we can touch them or touch there waxy feathers.
Terrapins were also there, they rescued them from local lakes. There were hens, ducks, rabbits, chicken, turkey and donkeys too.
After finishing the tour with guides, we can sit under the trees or at the shelter they have built there on the site and have lunch.
We have to take lunch from home because there are no food stalls near by.
Prani is not only popular with the kids but the adults will have equally fun time too.
