For delving deep
there is nothing as transforming
as a walk on a Wednesday
just outside my front door
whirligigs
festoon
my garden bench
Twenty years and counting
I still wonder what this is
right outside my front door.
I feared
these peppers
would never turn red,
their sun blocked
by an infestation of tomatoes,
now going to seed
The peppers take the stage
Come closer,
then closer still,
fall into sensuousness
and be still
How low must you go,
nearer and nearer to the essence of you,
to hear your angels sing?
copper
just copper
dream
It's been a long time since my last entry for a Wednesday Walk hosted by @tattoodjay . I had forgotten how lovely these walks are, how closely they make me look, how easily I fall into an unexpected and pleasurable mood. This is a series of shots taken on one turn around my house, and are presented in the order I took them. Each shot brought forth a short poem. Thank you so much for coming with. All images are, of course, mine. But that adorbs barn divider is all @thekittygirl.
