Wednesday Walk in the Vermont woods. Wonderful day out walking in the meadow and woods. I just love these Ostrich ferns. We have many of them around the border of the meadow to the woods. probably at least half an acre to an acre of them. They are already over waist high and seem to thrive here in the shade of the hardwoods.
We've also got some apples going on the apple trees, a little over marble size now, not quite golf ball sized yet.
Just one of my favorite views of the woods looking up from the meadow. Notice how dark it gets under the tree canopy. Very thick woods here, almost jungle-like.
