It's been almost a month since we had arrived in Bohol. Last month, we went to Oslob, Cebu and we had gone to the beach a couple of times but after traveling back to Bohol, we have never been to the beach and I miss it so much. So, I thought of sharing with you some throwback pictures of when my family had gone to the beach for some afternoon/sunset swimming.
Due to the restrictions during the pandemic, sometimes, the beaches are closed for swimming. We were glad that the beach was open to the public during that time.
Upon arriving at the beach, we let the kids play in the sand. It was already past four in the afternoon and so the temperature was perfect and the sunlight was not that harsh anymore.
My niece was also helping out Matti in making some sand castles. Matti paid attention to his achi!
He was still ten months when these images were taken. This baby loves swimming in the sea during these times.
These moments are very precious. I love this image so much, I will surely let Matti see this once he is big enough to understand. The water here is very clear too, although the sand is not that powdery, there were a few pebbles and some coral stones, it was still good!
My niece is a mermaid. She loves the waters even when she was small, until today, she would often ask me when will we get to the beach whenever she visits. I miss our bonding time before the pandemic. She usually go to our place in Cebu for vacation but due to the pandemic, this was canceled. Anyway, we are now closer as we live in Bohol this time.
Goofing around because my mother used Matti's toy to bathe herself with saltwater.
And we just love this view, there's an island a little far away, this is Camiguin. And look at the waters, its so silky!
More images of how the water is clear!
Pebbles in the sand. Who loves going to the beach?

As the sun was down to its resting area, we too enjoyed the peace and silence at the beach, hearing only the waves as they kiss the shore and the fishermen rowing their boats out to fish.
The skies are very dramatic with those pink and orange hues and I super adore the water, it was warm, silky.
Thanks for reading.
