Skimboard Wednesday

We have been experiencing bad weather recently due to typhoons, there are three typhoons actually that passed last week. Until now there is still sudden rainfall that comes with wind gusts, which causes big waves in the shorelines, many fishing boats were damaged and fishermen were forced not to push thru to the ocean as they were warned by the Local Government Unit (LGU).

On the other hand, while fishermen weren't allowed to go mid-ocean these young lads gathered their community of skimboarders on the beachfront to shred those waves and even enjoyed running into the incoming waves. Check out these photos below.

These lads were young locals of Alcoy, Cebu. Most often they do their skimboarding almost every day during the afternoon as a form of their bonding and as a medium of exercise as well.

In the photo above the lad did a perfect drift of the incoming waves.

While this lad in the below photo tripped on his skimboard as he run into the waves causing his skimboard to get thrown.

And if some lads get thrown by waves, there were some who perfectly done their moves they even ride with the waves smoothly.
