We had to delay the start to our walk because of the bad weather. After a break in the rain, we finally managed to set off. We'd seen some sort of derelict building on the map, but not sure what it was.
I'm quite curious about things like this. Even though we didn't know what type of building it was, we wanted to find it! It didn't take too long as we stumbled across it in the wood. There was an old stone wall nearby as well. Whether it was part of someone's house I don't know. We couldn't find any information about it but it was still quite cool.
An abundance of fungi and moss was all around the area.
It turned into a two hour walk but thankfully, it was mostly on the flat. Just as well as it was quite difficult under foot. I returned home for a welcome cup of hot chocolate!
