It was a nice and sunny day ... I mean, it still is ... and I was walking back and forth ...
... along the shore of the long, winding inlet that harbors many small fishing boats and larger sailing ones ...
... and is situated at the edge of the city, just across the street from suburban houses and some taller condominium buildings.
Some seagulls were resting on the dock ...
... while others ...
... have chosen a rocking little boat.
This was a considerably more dynamic scene, when compared with the one on the dock ...
... while the boat was dancing on the small waves ...
... the seagulls were coming and going, some birds was always spreading the wings or flying inside the fragment of world framed by the camera.
When I got too close ...
... the birds flew away ...
... but not too far ... so, with some more zooming, I was able to put them in the shot again.
This V - formation looked, and still looks, pretty cool ... in my opinion.
These three birds decided to spend a bit of their free time on another little boat.
Some of the boats in the marina were stranded ...
... and those which weren't overturned, looked like they are sailing through the green sea of grass ...
... this one had a living plant growing from its prow ... seemingly ...
... I like this stylish combination of the old boat and young tree, very much ...
... the plant in question is the Cherry Plum (Prunus cerasifera) ... currently in bloom.
Some meters further, I found more boats stranded around another tree ...
... then some blue trailer for small boats ...
... this pile of windows ...
... with the nice view on the bay ...
... a black bucket ...
... filled with fresh green grass ...
... a colorful piece of nylon surrounded by pink flowers ...
... and two people, two searchers in search of something on the ground.
This boat was stranded closer to the sea ...
... just like this rock covered with oysters, exactly on the border between the land and the sea.
I continued along the shore ...
... photographing the vistas ...
... a man was standing on the dock ... and ended up playing a big role in this shot, that would be considerably less effective without him ...
... and when he left the place ... I was on my way home as well, as always in these walks on HIVE, the photographs are my work - THE END.
