I'm so glad, @missdeli, that you love Thasos for the same reasons I do.
You know, of course, that Thasos is a destination for hundreds of thousands of Romanians, and it can be said that many go out of a herd spirit, because it is fashionable and somewhat easy to get to. Fortunately, it's not the same for us.
