Wednesday walk in the old part of the city

Hello friends.

I'm not a wizard or a magician, I'm just learning to be one.

Yesterday, Wednesday, I decided to take a walk in the old part of my city. This walk was made after a conversation with @melinda010100. I went to look for mailboxes in old houses. I remember that earlier mailboxes were attached either to the door of each apartment or to the wall in front of the entrance to the house. I went to check it out on the spot.

The first home and the first disappointment. There are no mailboxes in front of the house, and the house just couldn't get in.
One door had a combination lock, and the other was locked from the inside.

By the way, on one of the doors there was a notice that a cat was lost. And a can of cigarette butts.

An old friend of mine now lives in a similar house. He has financial problems due to the fact that he does not want to work.
I wanted to wish him a happy birthday, but he didn't even tell me his address.

In the second house, the front door from the street was open. But there was another door with a combination lock.
These houses were built in the 30-40s of the twentieth year. in the 30s, people came to build industrial plants, and in the 40s there was a war and people were evacuated here from the western regions of the USSR.

Here, next to the house, I met a walking cat.

The next house was made of blocks. Such houses were made in the late 40s and 50s of the last century.
The blocks were made from slag, industrial waste. Now it is recognized as harmful to health. But people live in such houses. They do not have the opportunity to buy a new home. Often they are either old people or young families.

Either no one lives in the apartment or the owners have not been on the balcony for a long time. Or maybe there's even a boarded-up door.

Have any of you friends lost your shoes? Otherwise, the pigeons will take them for themselves.

There are bars on the windows. There were probably cases of theft.

It is likely that no one lives in this house anymore. Maybe it was declared uninhabitable and someday the city Administration will demolish it. This is a city property.

Oh, the broken window, someone must have climbed in there. Or children or homeless people.
These people can even start a fire in such houses. Often such houses burn.

I'll see what's inside. There's all sorts of furniture there. People left and left it all behind. Or maybe the old owner died and everything is left and no one needs this old stuff. And it happens.
It probably is. There were even clothes in the closet.

And this house is probably from the early 60s.
I can even imagine the location of the apartments in such a house. I know several families who live in such houses.
Such houses have a certain aura of friendship. People know each other, they have a common yard, sometimes they celebrate holidays together in the yards. Or maybe it's not like that in this house. Times are changing. The old tenants leave, and the new ones can no longer make contact.

That's the end of my walk.
I couldn't see any mailboxes in the city. They should be found in private homes. The task becomes more complicated.
And most likely outside the city.

It was a short walk through a small neighborhood of Kirov

I wish everyone happiness for life and good luck for every day.
