Once upon a time: When I was just a young #Steem user. I met 2 code sages named @disregardfiat and @markegiles . They were working on a 3D infastructure called #DLUX for the steem chain.
This is the point in my life when I really began coding again. I had the help of the two #dlux devs and a few others. We started making some really cool stuff! Mark and Disregardfiat built a really simple version 1.0 uploader for dlux through the steem chain. A few of us started using the uploader though an IPFS.
There was so much we could do with this new system the DLUX devs built! 360 picture uploading, 3D galleries, and of course games! I built my first 3D gallery ... it was a bit rough but it was my first actual 3D building that I built and uploaded onto a blockchain! I even coded some of the assets.
After the developers built a solid version 1.0 uploader: They then created some new projects {on glitch} for creating games on hive! This process was very exciting! Anything they created: I could fork because I was following them on glitch {which is linked to github repositories}.
@markegiles and @disregardfiat build this excellent 3D builder and nav-mesh builder! That is halfway to a 3D game already! We built some nice 3D models and had them dropped into the builder! It worked well with certain file types. I HAVE THESE BUILDERS FORKED ON GLITCH STILL!
I also build a few other interesting assets that I still have: Like this driving map! The idea of this community will be to chre ideas and assets! Also just a page to support game creation in general. YOU CAN POST OPEN SOURCE ASSETS OR CREATE PRIVATE GAMES AND LAUNCH THEM. We need a place to just get the ball rolling for all games on hive.
Community Mission:
Help as many people as possible go from concept to launch with excellent games for the hive chain.
Create open source assets, builders and uploaders etc for hive users.
Of course; this community will support ALL types of games. 3D, 2D platform, flash games, card games, sports games, simulations, text adventures {LOL}, racing games etc.

Im hoping we could even have some new dev teams meet up here! A coder meets an artist meets a writer etc. Maybe we could create a system for different skill sets to hook up! That seems to be a problem with hive games being launches.
