So today I did an unusual production, while my workers got themselves engaged with bread baking under my supervision anyways. Sometimes disappointment can bring you to your arena of fulfilment and success. This is why you must never be discouraged when faced with setbacks and mishaps. Try as much as you can always to resist discouragement so that you might have enough time to think and focus on the bigger picture that is ahead.
I did mention that on Sunday, our celebration was almost ruined due to a heavy downpour, and as a result, most invitees couldn't attend. We ended up sharing the food and snacks with neighbours and friends. On Tuesday I had a call from one of the neighbours, she asked if I could supply 1000 pieces of the snacks I gave them the other day because her sister is getting married on Friday. Actually, I don't bake or produce such snacks commercially. I only do this for the family and sometimes free for close friends who inform me of their events.
So I told her it won't be possible, the snacks were for my child's dedication. She said I should name my price and she'll pay. It was not about the price, it's a time consuming production, everything is done manually. To cut the story short, I succumbed to pressure and accepted the offer at a normal commercial cost but on the condition that they send at least 3 people to help out.
The Reason
During our discussion, the neighbour said, her children loved the snacks so much. Then the next day, when her sister visited (the one who got married), she gave her some, after a few bites, questions started flowing;
where did you buy this, none of the pastry shops I know sells such stuff. Oh it's so delicious I want this for my marriage ceremony, can you talk to the person who did it if you know him in person?
What Kind Of Snack Is Making Such Wave?
It is a rebrand of scotch egg in Africa we call it Egg Rolls I reinvented mine with the addition of another ingredient like soybean flour. While the main egg roll is being fried with oil, mine is baked. To make it more tantalizing, I do add my milk bread flavours and nutmeg to the mix.
Production was successful and the order was delivered by 12GMT today. They appreciated me so much for accepting to do the unusual production.
Maybe some day, I'll post the recipe of this ugly to look but mouth-watering snack should you desire to give it a try.

Así que hoy hice una producción inusual, mientras que mis trabajadores se dedicaron a hornear pan bajo mi supervisión de todos modos. A veces, la decepción puede llevarte a la arena de la realización y el éxito. Por eso nunca debes desanimarte ante los contratiempos y contratiempos. Intente lo más que pueda siempre resistir el desánimo para que pueda tener suficiente tiempo para pensar y concentrarse en el panorama general que se avecina.
Mencioné que el domingo, nuestra celebración casi se arruinó debido a un fuerte aguacero y, como resultado, la mayoría de los invitados no pudieron asistir. Terminamos compartiendo la comida y los bocadillos con vecinos y amigos. El martes recibí una llamada de una de nuestras vecinas, me preguntó si podía suministrar 1000 piezas de los bocadillos que les di el otro día porque su hermana se casa el viernes. En realidad, no horneo ni produzco tales refrigerios comercialmente. Solo hago esto para la familia y, a veces, gratis para amigos cercanos que me informan de sus eventos.
Entonces le dije que no se puede, las meriendas eran para la dedicatoria de mi niño. Ella dijo que debería decir mi precio y ella pagará. No se trataba del precio, es una producción que consume mucho tiempo, todo se hace manualmente. Para resumir, cedí a la presión y acepté la oferta a un costo comercial normal pero con la condición de que enviaran al menos 3 personas para ayudar.
La razón
Durante nuestra discusión, dijo la vecina, a sus hijos les encantaron los bocadillos. Entonces al día siguiente, cuando la visitó su hermana (la que se casó), le dio un poco, después de unos bocados, comenzaron a fluir las preguntas;
¿Dónde compraste esto? Ninguna de las pastelerías que conozco vende tales cosas. Oh, es tan delicioso, quiero esto para mi ceremonia de matrimonio, ¿puedes hablar con la persona que lo hizo si lo conoces en persona?
¿Qué tipo de refrigerio está haciendo tal ola?
Es un cambio de marca de huevo escocés en África lo llamamos Egg Rolls Reinventé el mío con la adición de otro ingrediente como la harina de soja. Mientras el rollo de huevo principal se fríe con aceite, el mío se hornea. Para hacerlo más tentador, agrego mis sabores de pan de leche y nuez moscada a la mezcla.
La producción fue exitosa y el pedido se entregó hoy a las 12 GMT. Me apreciaron mucho por aceptar hacer la producción inusual.
Tal vez algún día, publique la receta de este refrigerio feo pero delicioso si deseas probarlo.
