Another Friday Night

Happy Friday, friends! I can't tell you that I'm relieved to greet the weekend. Work has been increasingly stressful and that is concerning because we haven't reached the first quarter of 2024 and we are busy. I shudder to think how busy it will be soon.

Our unit is losing three of its representatives to another unit. Another representative who has worked there a long time quit this week. That news surprised me. We were hired close in time to each other. Today several of my calls were complex. This takes a long time to resolve.

Midday I needed to schedule a doctor's appointment so that they would continue to call in medication refills for blood pressure management. My appointment is December 20. Originally I was working part of the day and leaving for a Prolia injection (for treatment of osteoporosis). I contacted my supervisor who agreed to allow modification to the time off and take the day to do two appointments. Now I have a morning and an afternoon appointment.

After work, we agreed to go to Walmart to try exchanging a gift I purchased, but it was delivered in a battered box. Because the item is a gift I hoped to swap it out, but there were no other boxes of the item so I brought it home. The discount was too good to opt out of a purchase because of the damaged box. We had dinner at a family restaurant named Hoss' Steak House. We had a steak and salad bar. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was good.

I've spent a good portion of today playing the game Monopoly Go until running out of dice. It seems like a waste of time in the end. My son invited me to play when I visited Florida on Memorial Day weekend and I've played ever since.

Monday I received Botox for migraine. I believe it is beginning to take effect. I hope that is the case.

It's growing late and I'm relaxing while my husband watches Star Trek Next Generation.
I'm sharing some pictures of Newt and a picture of Inara. I took the pictures with my Samung Galaxy Note S22 Ultra Plus 5G smartphone. He's enjoying my blanket-covered lap this evening.

I'm alive and thriving in Pennsylvania, USA. I hope all is well your way. Today we share our days in Alive Tribe. Thank you for reading 📚.
