So this year that I am visiting the city of Maturin, Monagas state, I did not hesitate to take a walk around the place where the comparsas were going to parade to appreciate them and have fun. This time I went in the company of my family with my grandson Gael, @nathyortiz and her partner, also my husband Aníbal, these parades went out on the avenue at the height of the descent of the Picacho. I tell you that there was a large group of security personnel, I also noticed that there were bleachers to sit on, mini-cafes on every corner, portable toilets, in the school parade I dare say that there were more than 100 schools between public and private, everything looked very cheerful, and lively. >I have had the opportunity to experience carnivals in Cumaná, Carúpano, Mochima, Santa Fe, Guanta, Puerto la Cruz, Caripe and Maturín, among others.
