I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβš‘πŸ’₯πŸ”₯βœ΄οΈβœ³οΈβ‡οΈπŸ‘£πŸŒ±βœ¨πŸ€™

Warm greetings all! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

In my 1 year, 10 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days here on Hive I've learned a great deal about how to build, grow, and succeed in this next-level incredible Blockchain Ecosystem. This has come from a huge amount of exploring, experimenting, trying things out, tinkering, adjusting, refining, observing, reading, and talking with people here. I'm far from perfect, and I'm sure I still do all sorts of things wrong, but I pay attention, I learn quickly, and I make changes when it becomes apparent to me that they are needed. Today I'd like to share some of what I've learned.

There are all sorts of ways to succeed on Hive, as it's a huge and diverse Ecosystem, but I'd like to share a few things that I think will help anyone who applies them, in whatever unique way he or she flows best here. Here we go! Are you ready?

1.) Publish Quality Posts - Yes, while it is possible to grow and success on Hive without writing and publishing posts, it would be pretty slow going indeed. Writing about subjects in which we have a great deal of passion and interest is the way to go for sure, as passion is contagious, and it will come across in our writing. What qualifies as a 'quality post'? Look around at what posts do well here, paying attention to details. Clear presentation and photos, correct grammar and spelling, a natural and inviting flow, and our unique personal magic are all things that, from my perspective at least, go into making a good post. Think of each post that you publish as a work of art, and treat it as such.

2.) Engagement - Of course there are people that do very well here that are abysmal at engagement, but I'm going to tell you that with good, solid engagement, you'll notice that your growth here will be super-charged. This is a social Blockchain, and we need each other to grow and succeed here, so interacting, connecting, sharing, building relationships and trust, encouraging and supporting each other, are essential components for any kind of long-term success. When I say engagement, I don't mean one or two word comments or saying things that are not true for you. Be real, authentic, open, honest, and also, understanding and kind in your comments and replies. I can't stress enough how hugely important good engagement is on Hive.

3.) Consistency - There are people here the write amazing posts or are off-the-chart phenomenal at engagement, but they simply are not consistent at all. They do things in little bursts here and there, with long stretches of nothing in between. While this can work, growth and success will generally be quite limited. This Blockchain is very special, and we receive from it what we put into it. If we commit and dedicate ourselves to it and our growth and success here, we will see the results of our attention, time, energy, and efforts. Showing up here consistently, every day, over, and over, and over again, to give our all, will bear astonishingly sweet and abundant fruits. Start small, stabilize it, add a little more, habituate that too, then add a little more, on and on. Consistency begins with small, simple steps converted into habits. Start now. You'll thank yourself later.

4.) Maximum Leverage - One of the beautiful things about Hive is that we can start with nothing, from scratch, and then over time build and grow to very impressive levels. This can be a slow or rapid process. One way to massively speed if up is to learn how to leverage the assets that we presently have in the most useful and beneficial ways possible. We all receive every manner of tokens constantly, and many of these tokens could easily be put to work for us, either through delegating the to particular curation accounts, adding them to diesel/liquidity pools, or even trading them on the internal market. Most people here would truly be astounded at just how much more they could do with what they presently have sitting in their wallets, and how much it could benefit them. Learn about the tokens, what they do, and how they work, and also about the many ways to make use of them.

5.) Generosity - Here on Hive we are all in this together, we rise by lifting others, and together we thrive, so give generously of yourself and your resources whenever you find the opportunity to do so. This helps everyone, and the whole Blockchain Ecosystem, to grow, which of course benefits us all. The one caveat that I'll mention is, like engagement, to do so out of place of authenticity and what you're really feeling. Attempting to force generosity out of a sense of obligation is exceedingly counterproductive, and people will feel that it is not genuine. Think of everyone on Hive as your brothers, sisters, and dear friends, and treat them that way. This goes much further than most could imagine, with massive and exquisite ripple effects all over the Blockchain.

Those are what came to mind as I was writing this. There are of course others, but those five, if implemented and followed over time, will have an inconceivably positive effect on your experience here.

It's so curious that my Hive cadence tends to follow a certain rhythm and pattern for a time, then it will shift to another, which will then remain stable for a while, and then another leap. I don't feel overwhelmed with my Hive catch-up and tasks anymore, but it definitely takes a lot of time and work. Yesterday, being Monday, had two meetings that I had to attend, the Leadership Council meeting in the morning at 10:30AM, and the Logisitics meeting on the evening at 6:30PM. Aside from taking time for those, and some land work in the late afternoon, the rest of my awake time was spent working on Hive.

I've been finishing my first thorough round of catch-up and tasks on Hive around 4:30PM for several days in a row lately, then I walk around to take photos for the next day's iteration of this post, and once that is done it's on to do some land work until just before dark. Once work is done I clean up with a shower, make food, and then it's back up to the Flow House for my evening round of catch-up and tasks on Hive, before finally going to bed. That's my usual present pattern most days at the moment, with minor variations here and there, like giving sessions, or my all-day Sunday Hive marathons. I'm a very consistent bugger!

For land work yesterday I put some more time, sweat, and effort, into clearing, leveling, and preparing the area where we're going to be putting two new water catchment tanks. I gave it two good rounds, with a short rest in between. We should be putting the tanks in place by Monday, so it's important to get it done by then. Cinder is being spread on the area today, to level it out well.

I stayed up a little late last night, after finishing what I neeed on Hive, watching the prices of PKOIN and LTC, and my buy and sell orders. It was pretty frustrating, as the prices were not at all going in the directions that was wanting. I finally went to sleep just before 12AM. I slept well and woke up around 4:30AM. When I checked on my PKOIN sell order on BitForex, much to my surprise, I saw that it had gone through! Woot! On both BitForex and Hive Engine, I also decided to shift my trading focus from LTC, to higher-volume, lower-value tokens, like DOGE on BitForex, and DEC on Hive Engine. The benefit to this is that with the quantities with which I'm dealing, even small variations in price can net some very nice profits. I'm absolutely determined to reach dolphin level by September 1st, on HPUD.

It's almost 1:30PM as I write this, so it's time to end this post for now (2PM is when UTC time changes from one day to the next for me). Now on to another round of Hive catch-up and tasks...πŸ˜‚ I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow morning! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 πŸ™ πŸ’š ✨ πŸ€™
