Hoy es sábado, es un día que lo he pasado con mucha calma y tranquilidad, justo como me gustan estos días. El registro del día de hoy me ha puesto a escribir y borrar por un buen rato, no sé por qué me cuesta tanto hoy poner ideas en un texto ordenado, pero no deseo dejar el día sin registro, después de todo, es bastante raro cuando dejo de publicar en este registro de días desde que en #Venezuela se declaró la #Cuarentena por la #pandemia de #Covid19.

Esta celebración se orienta a enaltecer el papel del #hombre en la sociedad, señalando la necesidad de equidad de género y equilibrio entre todas las partes que componen a la sociedad humana, no se contrapone a ninguna idea de liberación femenina ni de diversidad de géneros, sino que procura que el mismo respeto y cuidado que se tiene para los demás seres humanos, sea también aplicado al caso de los #hombres y muchachos de todas partes del mundo.

In itself, the celebration is relatively recent, although there have been attempts to institutionalize a day to exalt the role of men in society since 1960 (approximately) from different countries, it is on February 7 of 1992 in Malta, that Thomas Oaster launched a project for this celebration, he had been working on it since 1991, but it was the following year that he officially launched it. He was working on the celebration and its popularization until 1995, the year in which the little public interest in the commemoration led him to reject his project and not carry it out anymore.
Four years after the abandonment of the date by its creator, in 1999, Jerome Teelucksingh, from Trinidad and Tobago, relaunched the idea of celebrating men and boys, as well as their achievements and merits. Part of Teelucksingh's idea was related to the tenth anniversary of his country's soccer team, which in 1989 had united the country in its quest to qualify for the World Cup, plus the date coincided with his father's birthday and Thus, it was a direct homage to its progenitor.

Both Oaster and Telucksingh made it clear that this was a celebration not just for men who are big stars in sports, entertainment, business, or politics, but that it is about celebrating all good men of all ages and nationalities, who live their lives with dignity and decency, constituting a necessary and healthy example for future generations and overcoming the stereotypes and stigmas that can be had against the male figure today.

Tanto Oaster como Teelucksingh dejaron en claro que se trataba de una fecha no solo para los hombres que son grandes estrellas en deportes, espectáculos, negocios o política, sino que se trata de celebrar a todos los buenos hombres de todas las edades y de todas las nacionalidades que viven dignamente y con decencia sus vidas, constituyendo un necesario y saludable ejemplo para las generaciones venideras y superando los estereotipos y los estigmas que puede tenerse contra la figura masculina en la actualidad.
Bueno, también debo decir que elegí este tema para mi registro, porque es una manera de darme una felicitación también a mi mismo (risas personales), en fin, ya es hora de dar fin, te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
