I was a little suspicious when my children were asking about pancake batter last night. Hmmm, making paper chains? Why are they all going to bed early? Something's up!
When our littlest one woke up this morning we heard her say "The furpise!" and running out of the room. She meant "the surprise". Now we know something is up for sure!
We came out of the bedroom to see all the signs of a big cooking project. the children ushered us out the front door and into the bus.
The children got up early this morning at 7 AM and made pancakes for us. They made the batter from scratch, they cooked them perfectly and decorated them beautifully. They even added a menu! Wow!
What a beautiful pancake for a seven and ten year old to make without supervision or help.

They decorated the bus with paper chains and added nice breakfast music for us to enjoy. They made the morning amazing! After many praises and hugs, daddy and mommy cleaned up the kitchen and made the children a breakfast for them to enjoy too.
What an amazing surprise!
