We Are Alive! November 16th, 2023 First Cake

My son's birthday is in a few weeks and since my parents (next door) will be out of town for his birthday, we're celebrating early! My son decided he wanted to help mom make the birthday cake.

It wasn't anything fancy, just a box mix. But mommy went through the instructions very carefully with the boy and he was excited to put the ingredients into the bowl.

He carefully cut open the package and dumped in the mix. Then he added the wet ingredients and turn on the mixer.

It seems like a small thing, but for someone just turning six, having never made a cake before, he really enjoyed making it.

It was his job to butter and flour the pans too, he found that to be very fun!

Mamma made a raspberry filling that she put between the layers after it was baked and once it was ready she covered it with cool whip.

My son's last job is the best part: he gets to try it out! This is his favorite job, being taste tester.

Amazing to think Daniel is turning six: I've been here on the blockchain so long, I documented my son's birth here! He was called "Steemit baby" before he had a name! LOL! I'm an old geezer here!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.
