Our family attended a meeting at the library and we got there a bit early to check out some children's books for the family. The children picked out 16 books!
I was amazed at what is offered for lending: board games, dvd's, audiobooks, a lot more than just books! My favorite were the "Binge Box" with a collection of 8 movies all based on a theme. This is the "Feel Good Flicks" box.
While daddy and mommy were in the "boring" meeting, the children had a lot of fun, sitting and reading the books they picked out.
Even though the meeting was "boring" having a bunch of books to read made it much more enjoyable for the children. They are developing a desire to read... and I've been told sometimes too much desire to read!
