Our explorer boy has been doing a bit too much exploring. While the weather is nice, the front door is often left open. This boy looks for an opportunity to slip away and take a walk outside while daddy and mommy are preoccupied. After an episode where a neighbor returned him to our door, we decided to take some drastic action.
It's a special harness that allows him to be "tied to the apron strings" staying close to mamma, or to bigger siblings. We have never done this before (he is our sixth child) but in his case, it's important.
It has a whale on the back. Reminds me of the story of Jonah, someone who decided to go where he wasn't supposed to go.
He really liked his new vest, thought it was great. Until when mama was cooking, he decided to make a run for the door... then surprise! He was stopped in his tracks. He cried at first, but then resigned himself to stay by mama. He wasn't hurt, but surprised. Guess he'll have to get used to staying near mama.
"At least I have my car to play with. Brrrrrrvvvvvm."
