The children enjoyed the evening, making chalk drawings on the front pavement.
Right by the basketball net there is my name and handprint from June of 1989. My daughter's hand fits perfectly in the imprint!
As the evening went on we welcomed in the Holy day.
It's been a very peaceful and restful day for Sabbath. We spent a good portion outside enjoying the beautiful weather. We also toured the garden and noticed a few interesting things.
The cherry tree is loaded with fruit! They almost look like clusters of grapes, but they are sweet cherries. They turn a dark red color when they're ripe.
Looks like we may get a nice crop of blueberries this year too.
If we can keep the fruit from being eaten by the birds and squirrels, we'll be doing good!
