The day of rest is here and boy it was well appreciated. Friday was a very busy day, finishing up yard work, moving the old piano out of the front room, cleaning, organizing the office. Whew. Along with my normal HIVE activity and work, now it's time... to... REST!
Because our electrical utility charges during peak hours, we have been keeping it turned off. That means it get's a little warm in our home and it's still smokey outside. The children realized the paper plates make great fans to cool themselves.
It feels so good to rest and take things easy, to have the day available to recharge, listen to scripture, take a nap, disconnect for a while.
Now that the sun is setting, it's time to get back to work!
Six days you shall labor, and do all your work,
Tomorrow is "labor day", and the day after, and after. It's not until the end of the sixth day we cease from our labor, then we resume at the end of the seventh day.
