Today is project day, in addition to "pancake and shower day", we pick a project to do. Today we decided to clean our old rug carpet. It was used in our bedroom for year, over a bare OSB floor before carpet was installed. It got pretty dirty over the years, then it sat collecting dust another year or so.
It was amazing how much dust and grime came up from this carpet!
My littlest one was very interested in helping daddy, especially with all these interesting vacuum attachments.
After vacuuming over and over, I switched the Kirby to rug cleaning mode with water and soap. I soaked and scrubbed it very well, now we're waiting for it to dry and be vacuumed again. Spot treatments for stains, then we'll put it in our main room.
It was a fun project and my little one helped!
