Today is the day that we clean up the house and prepare for Sabbath. Unfortunately we slept in this morning and it put us behind the whole day.

I got the new Kirby vaccuum out and began addressing the floors and surfaces. I didn't realize how much dust and grime builds up over time until taking a closer look.

It's all gone now... at least in the rooms I addressed. I think the idea is to do a deep cleaning every few days (or weeks) in various rooms until the whole home is free of the dirt and dust that gathers up.

the day is ending with the sun low in the sky, so I'm posting this and ending this week's work, commencing in welcoming the Sabbath into our home.
