Mamma is usually in charge for diner, but tonight she left for a few hours training for the elections coming up. So daddy was in charge of making and serving diner... with some good help.
After visiting the store, I found a pre-cooked BBQ chicken for a good price, making for an easy diner. But we also toasted up some bread and baked some potatoes, along with some roasted broccoli.
It was a big hit, everyone enjoyed their "daddy diner", although the little ones pushed the boundaries to see what they could get away with.
No AWOL at the daddy diner! After diner, we read some scripture and prayed, then everyone brought their plates up to the sink. A lot of family training over diner, it's a time when the whole family participates together.
