Today has been an interesting day. We have a giant shuttle bus sitting in our driveway and we are cleaning and discussing options for packing for our October camping trip down south.
First thing, we found the trap with another squirrel - this one has been a rascal. We've watched him grab more than one apple from our tree, so we relocated him to Squirrel Paradise.
We opened the live cage and he ran out in a flash!
The weather is beautiful today and all the smoke from the Canadian wildfires has finally cleared. We can see blue skies again!
A Surprise Discovery
When we got back, we discovered something very special about our new shuttle bus: half of the seats fold up! This is perfect, as we were thinking of ways to load our supplies and having more floor space will make it much easier.
We didn't know about this feature when we purchased this bus, we just discovered this today.
We are considering removing the other three bench seats for even more floor space. Having the seats go up means we can set up our cots and make this a temporary sleeping space for our family for our two-day journey!
Our double-cots fit in the space where the seats normally are!
If we can save money by avoiding hotels on the road, maybe we can afford the gas it will take to get to our destination.
Yah knew what we needed even before we knew what we needed!
