Today has been a productive day. I got the weeds out of the curb in front of the house and mowed the front and back yards, also my parent's front and back yards. Then I weeded various places and raked the debris from our back yard. After all that I came in to see my oldest daughter was put in charge of making diner... it looks really good!
She lit the BBQ coals herself and cooked the stakes to perfection! She made a fantastic salad, with lots of vegetables and fruit. She even made the dressing.
I told her I should call her "Chef Abigail" and she smiled. It's amazing watching our children become capable people, they start out as helpless babies, but before you know it, they're cooking diner!
