Convencida de lo que sus ojos habían visto, Cristal decidió contárselo a las demás orugas para que ellas también tuvieran esperanza y las cargas de sus vidas no fueran tan pesadas de llevar, pero nadie la escuchó y todas se burlaron de ella. Las orugas decidieron seguir con su amargada vida sin propósito y otras se volvieron malvadas, porque no tenían esperanza.
