# A pleasure to come back here, where book and reading lovers gather, again a thousand things have come my way, which prevent or limit me to pass by here, such as the return of the continuous blood pressure crisis, which causes severe headaches, so it was not recommended to fix the view on the pages of a book, as I had already mentioned in my previous publication, plus other things, but the desire to return with you have always been present in my desire to create content. Now, I am back to continue sharing with you my review of the novel based on true events titled "4 Crimes 4 Powers" this time in its second chapter, for those who did not read the previous [publication](https://peakd.com/hive-180164/@actioncats/4-crimes-4-powers-the) this novel was written by a former commissioner Fermín Mármol León, who wanted to gather here four crimes that were events known by the Venezuelan society in certain years and committed by people who were part of four powers and that having let's say that influences evaded justice, so chapter two is titled

#### ***The Case of the Deadly Statuette (The political power)***

This chapter focuses on the murder of the wife of a deputy of the then Venezuelan Congress, who lost her life due to the explosion of the statuette of a virgin, now well to put them in context and have an idea of what this chapter is about and why the main suspect was the husband of the victim, I share a little the facts. First, the image of the virgin arrived by mail to the congressman Pedro Rosales to his offices, it did not bring more information and when he saw that it was the image of a virgin, he immediately assumed that it was for his wife, Hilda de Rosales and decided to take it home to deliver it, it turned out that the image contained explosives which caused the death of the congressman's wife. Here in this chapter it can be said that the real protagonist was the political power, since the congress used its power to paralyze the investigation and although when the parliamentary immunity of the former congressman Pedro Rosales ended, he was taken to trial, the case was dismissed because the judge determined that there was not enough evidence. In summary, it is another chapter in which the author immerses us in a world where he recreates from his perspective as a commissioner and criminalist, how suspects can often evade justice, not only because of the lack of evidence, but also because of the influence of powers, specifically in this case the political power.

# Un placer volver por acá, donde los amantes de los libros y la lectura se reúnen, de nuevo se han presentado mil cosas en mi camino, las cuales me impiden o limitan pasar por acá, como por ejemplo el regreso de las continuas crisis de presión arterial, lo que ocasiona fuertes dolores de cabeza, por lo que no era recomendable fijar la vista en las páginas de un libro, como ya les había mencionado en mi anterior publicación, además de otras cosas, pero las ganas de volver con ustedes siempre han estado presentes en mis ganas de crear contenido. Ahora bien, regreso para continuar compartiendo con ustedes mi reseña de la novela basada en hechos reales titulada “4 Crímenes 4 Poderes” esta vez en su segundo capítulo, para quienes no leyeron la anterior [publicación](https://peakd.com/hive-180164/@actioncats/4-crimes-4-powers-the) esta novela fue escrita por un ex comisario Fermín Mármol León, quien quiso reunir aquí cuatro crímenes que fueron sucesos conocidos por la sociedad venezolana en determinados años y cometidos por personas que formaban parte de cuatro poderes y que al tener digamos que influencias evadieron la justicia, así el capítulo dos se titula

#### ***El caso de la Estatuilla Mortal (El poder político)***

Este capítulo se centra en el asesinato de la esposa de un diputado del entonces Congreso venezolano, la cual perdió la vida debido a la explosión de la estatuilla de una virgen, ahora bien para ponerlos en contexto y que tengan una idea de que trata este capítulo y de porque el principal sospechoso fue el esposo de la víctima, les comparto un poco los hechos. Primero, la imagen de la virgen le llegó por correo al congresista Pedro Rosales hasta sus oficinas, no traía mayor información y este al ver que era la imagen de una virgen, de inmediato asumió que era para su esposa, Hilda de Rosales y decidió llevarla a casa para entregarla, resultó ser que la imagen contenía explosivos lo que ocasionó que muerte de la esposa del congresista. Ahora bien, aunque en un primer momento este suceso se supuso o se pensó que se trataba de un acto de terrorismo contra el Congreso venezolano, todas las pistas y los hechos apuntaban a que el diputado había asesinado a su esposa, por ejemplo, no dejo bajo ningún concepto que sus hijos acompañaran a su esposa luego de entregarle la imagen de la virgen. Así, este capítulo nos sumerge en un nuevo caso, que primero, al saber que está basado en hechos de la vida real, nos llena de intriga, pues deseamos saber qué, cómo, cuándo de lo ocurrido, vemos, la investigación se complican y surgen trabas de todo tipo, para que el proceso avance, pero aquí lo que llama poderosamente la atención, es el que aun teniendo indicios de que el diputado era el presunto culpable, primero su inmunidad parlamentaria lo ayudo, además de que sospechosamente meses después de la muerte de su esposa volvió a contraer matrimonio. Aquí en este capítulo se puede decir que el verdadero protagonista fue el poder político, ya que el congreso usó su poder para paralizar la investigación y aunque al terminar la inmunidad parlamentaria del que fuera diputado Pedro Rosales, se le llevó a juicio, la causa fue desechada porque el juez determinó que no había pruebas suficientes. En resumen, es otro capítulo en el que el autor nos sumerge en un mundo donde nos recrea desde su óptica como comisario y criminalista, el cómo muchas veces los sospechosos pueden evadir la justicia, no solo a causa de la falta de pruebas, también por la influencia de poderes, específicamente en este caso el poder Político.
