Over the ages legends have it that a gaint sea monster suddenly accends the sea and snaches a boat and drag it down the watery grave with the sailors. Let us see if such large sea monsters really exist.
The sperm whale can grow to about 20 meters in lenght, and is as much as 50 tons. The tooth alone weighs 900 grams. Colossal and gaint squid however are just meal for the larger sperm whale. Some years ago the crew of the former Soviet Union whaleboat claimed to have seen a battle between the gaint squid and a 40 ton sperm whale both of them did not survive the fight as the head of the gaint squid was found in the belly of the sperm whale, the strangled sperm whale was found afloat in the sea.
Blue whale is the largest mammal. The longest blue whale on record is 33 meter adult female caught in Antarctica. The blue whale may weigh as much as 150 tons. The weight of it's tongue alone is equal to that of an adult elephant.

It gives birth to a 3 ton calf that is seven to eight meters long. It is one of the critically endangered species.
It is perhaps the most frightening canivorous fish with 3000 formidable teeth. This shark has an extraordinary sense of smell able to detect a drop of blood diluted in 100 liters of water.
The largest of living fish, averaging 7.5 meters in length, some can even reach twice that size. The mouthcan be 1.4 metrrs wide making it easily capable of swallowing a man. Far from being a ferocious predator of large sea creatures, rather this gentle gaint feeds on tiny fish.
Gaint Octopus can weigh upto 250 kilograms. It was once called devil fish but actually it is shy and hides in rock dens and cervices on the sea floor. It has aight hands that can span to 10 meters, and it posses the largest brain of any invertebrate, they are also highly intelligent and can learn complex task such as solving mazes and unscrewing jar lids.
