I Am Alive Challenge 06.09.22 - First Fall BBQ

Hello friends, the last three weeks have been very difficult. At first there was a lot of work and I was hoping to spend the last week of August and the first week of September at the sea, but my wife and my buddies got sick, so our merry band spent a few days in hospitals.

However, my immunity was more or less resistant and the symptoms were gone on the second day. But my friends and my wife had a hard time. Taking tests, pills, evenings with fever - not very pleasant, but fortunately, by this first weekend in the fall, we have all recovered, and we decided to celebrate it with a trip to nature.

The place was very nice and, in addition, in the summer, someone from the picnic had carefully made a decent brazier from the stones, so that all that was left to do was to gather some wood and get busy cooking :)

While the girls were busy with vegetables, I took up sausages and at the same time, since there was a lot of toasted bread at home, I made a few sandwiches with turkey ham and three kinds of cheese.

And, of course, as a lover of extreme cuisine, there was no shortage of spicy food. This time for a few sausages I made a glaze of "Breeder's Split" sauce based on mango and fermented Habanero Orange, a couple of them I spiked with "Tiger Balm" Thai-style sauce with raspberry and galangalan, and the rest were properly smeared with soy sauce with yuzu from my Moscow friends from Underdog Bar.

It turned out pretty good, although "Breeder's Split" is a condiment for real fans of spicy and unprepared eater can easily knock out :)

By evening the weather turned totally bad and the already overcast sky became very dark, and to avoid rain, we, full and satisfied with a day in the fresh air, cleaned up the clearing and went home.

I will not stop repeating - when you relax in nature, thoroughly clean up after yourself, because you will be happy to come back to a clean and tidy place :)

Take care of nature!
