The Festive Fever: My IAAC Post #46

Hello everyone. Thank God we are all alive. This evening I went into town, precisely to the popular "bank road" in the state capital to make some cash withdrawals from the ATM and something spectacular caught my attention...the near-empty street!

This particular road is always busy with both human and vehicular movement. But alas, this evening it looks like a ghost of itself. The closest answer to this near complete desertion of the road is that most people have left the town for the hinterlands for the Christmas celebration and the near approaching new year.

After making some withdrawals I also made up my mind to travel home (my village) tomorrow so as to be with my extended family. The Xmas fever has finally hit me, hahahaha.

This is also another busy road within the city centre. It is now witnessing less traffic both in humans and vehicles.

May I use this medium to wish all travelers safe trip to our various destinations, Amen. We shall all get home safely, see the end of 2021 and also majestically step into 2022. All these I ask through Christ our Lord, Amen.
